To date, that information has STILL not been supplied. Gold Rush will offer an insight into the world of gold mining where miners take on great risks driven by the urge to find more gold than ever before. His response was "we'll give you that information by the end of the summer ". At this point, Tony asked for a special permission license, which there is no such thing so this paused consideration of the license while the government was like "what are you talking about? Do you want to start all over from scratch and file a new application?" And then there was a request for more information by the government to address the environmental objections and clarify some more of his plans which were kind of hard to follow. Then there was the environmental contamination with the "baptism by fire" of the dredges which he got fined for and, following that, at least 2 environmental groups filed objections to his application. Then in reviewing his mitigation and mining plans, they asked for further clarification on some simple points - and there was no response from Tony for over a year. The initial application was missing several pages which the government then had to write to him asking to supplement. Tony hired another company to file the applications for him, but, in the end, it boils down to Tony's responsibility to make sure the application is done correctly. I've read through nearly every page of the application, responses by the government, environmental objections, and letters from Tony/his representatives. I posted a reply about this a couple days ago in a different thread. Or arbitrarily felt the need to bring tony down a notch I'm sure the show marketing tony as "the king of the Klondike" didn't sit too well with an overly zealous permitting guy who probably didn't care for tony.
